this is for the women. the daughters the sisters the mothers the lovers…
the lovers of Life.
An ode to wombyn around the world.
What does it mean to be a woman in today’s world? What makes a woman unique? What is it that we go through? What makes a woman sacred?
The very breath we breathe is sacred. The energy of our heart and womb is sacred. We are the portal. We are the muse.
We are wombyn.
To even say that, feels like a reclamation of power.
We are Wombyn.
Breathe this in.
To the men reading this, thank you! To be attracted to “Musings from the Heart” means that you are most likely on your Divine Masculine journey. And that is what we need, that is what we respect.
Because for too long, we’ve experienced the contrast.
Patriarchal conditioning is still something we are unraveling. In school, we learn about his-story, reciting all the wars that have happened in our exams. In history classes, we learn how women were objectified; for centuries, they did not have a say in society, they were suppressed and silenced. Now, things are getting better; we do have a say, we CAN speak up and express who we are. Yet, the remnants of patriarchy are still present. The idea that it is still not safe to be a woman. The idea that we must constantly cover up, we must constantly say sorry, we must constantly forgive. The idea that we are constantly trying to prove ourselves… in the never-ending wheel of productivity that leads to exhaustion… yet still underpaid, in a workplace where saying, “it comes from my intuition” causes eyebrows to raise.
So, we are shifting the paradigm to empowHER!
Because the Divine Feminine IS rising. And now, we live in a time where it IS safe to share our voices. We no longer live in the witch hunt era where women are killed for gathering in ritual. While the wound may still be there, and we are healing, we are also fortunate enough to live in a time where gathering in circle with our sisters is celebrated! We can practice our witchy magic unapologetically! We can dance under the full moon and sing our songs, and feel our feels, and all of this is embraced… it IS safe to be in our Divine Feminine.
While we have evolved as a society, there is still work to do on both ends. This idea of safety is constantly in our fields. Are we safe to dress up and show skin? Will it bring unwanted attention? Are we safe to walk alone in the dark? Are we safe to go to a party or festival by ourselves? Will something happen? Will we be okay?
When we are embodied in our Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energy, we do feel safe. Because we are connected to our hearts! The men see women as expressions of divinity, the women see men as protectors of purity… as consciousness rises, we recognize who we are at a deeper level, and in our souls, we are safe! To make this a living experience for women and men, we must all take responsibility and treat every person we see with respect and kindness whether it’s during the day or night time! For men, notice how you treat women during the evening… whether you’re walking on the street or at a party, or wherever it may be… this is when most shadows come to surface… this is when women are most on guard.
Women, notice your relationship with your shadows.
Part of the Divine Feminine Rise is embracing the light and the dark feminine.
The dark feminine is embodied in her lower chakras. Her shadows are integrated. She is connected to her emotions, to her sensuality, to her inner baddie. She allows herself to feel the full spectrum of being a woman. She allows all the fear, all the rage, all the grief, all the shame, all the mess to come up and be FELT, felt through her screams and tears, felt through her shakes and pants… she has permission to feel. She does not need to be the good girl anymore, pleasing everyone with a pretty face. Covered in pounds of makeup that she reapplies every day. She can let the mascara drip down her cheeks as she puts down her hands and sighs, “I’ve had enough”.
As she feels her pain, she can turn it into pleasure.
Connected with her belly and her thighs, she lets them jiggle. She moves her hips in circles, and lets out an “mmmmm” so turned on by her own pleasure, feeling so juicy in her temple!
For too long, our bodies have been criticized! Too fat, too skinny, not enough of this, too much of that etc… this critic usually comes from ourselves. From the voices in our heads that perpetuate the story of not being good enough. Now that we are living in a time of body positivity, women are beginning to embrace their bodies, no matter the shape, recognizing that our bodies are constantly changing, our faces are constantly shifting… the crease lines, the cellulite, the pimples… this is not something to be ashamed of… this is a natural part of growth. What matters is how healthy we feel! Are we treating our bodies with the respect and gentleness they deserve? Are we allowing our bodies to move, to dance, to jiggle and twerk?!
Part of the women empowerment movement is embracing our sexuality and sensuality as sacred! Which means twerking full on and connecting with our yoni and touching our bodies and dancing erotically. Like a wild woman… swirling and spiraling in freedom and liberation. Personally, I’ve been dancing at two incredible studios in SD, called Madhouse Dance and Certified Baddies, which are safe spaces for women to dance in heels and connect with their sexuality in a way that is juicy and fun! Not for an unsolicited male gaze. Rather, for the pleasure she feels in her own body! So that she no longer is her body’s biggest critic but rather loves her skin with so much reverence! Why? Because her body gives her the opportunity to dance and access her ALIVENESS! Her primal embodiment. Which is pure passion and erotic innocence.
There is no one I would rather be than a wombyn.
My Body is an Altar! This is the name of the music album that Sahara Rose released today on International Women’s Day. So deeply resonant! Returning to the journey of loving our selves, we are the altar, we are the beyouty, we are the sacred Muse. We adorn ourselves, our energy is magnetic, we receive the nectar of our feminine radiance.
Our yonis are sacred. Our blood is sacred. What unites many women is the moon cycle. Every month, we release, we turn inwards, an invitation for rest and relaxation. I love to connect with my womb by placing my hands on her and breathing deeply through the Yoni like a flower blossoming open. I’ve been using Divine Yoni Oil, which has created such a beyoutifull ritual of connecting with my portal in an intimate way while receiving her wisdom. Feeling so grounded in the womb, a wise carrier of Life. As I massage my womb with rose oil, and smell the roses that touch my body with sensual sweetness, I am reminded of how powerful it is to be a woman. We have the potential to grow a baby, to BIRTH a baby, to nurture a soul into existence, we bring humans to earth. Every single human on this Earth is here because of a woman.
Honor your mother.
Now, let’s transition to the light feminine energy. The motherly energy! The energy that cares for and nourishes.
The compassionate feminine energy that is soft, loving, gentle, kind, heartwarming, welcoming, sweet… connected to her heart chakra. Isn’t it a synchronicity that Love Day (Feb 14) and Women’s Day (March 8) are less than a month apart?!
Women bring love and joy to Life! We are the energy of fun, laughter, excitement, awe! We giggle with enchantment and enjoy the moment! We care for our loved ones. We give hugs and make yummy meals and are there to be a listening ear. We are a soothing, nurturing presence, with a heart so open to the beyouty of Love! We create altars, we make homes beyoutifull, we add color and flowers to our space, we sing our intentions and water our prayers, we are connected to our intuition, our spirit, our soul essence. We flow with Life moment by moment, like waves moving in fluid motion, all coming together in circle.
We create. Yes, we have the power to create babies. AND we are creating every day. We create ideas. We create projects. We create art. The feminine energy is creativity, is artistry. Artists of the heart, we are the Muse. We breathe creative inspiration into our being, the feminine energy values the simplicity and abundance of being.
Being in Nature. Connected with Mother Nature. The Woman is Nature. The way we treat Nature is the way we treat wombyn. Nature is the womb of Life… trees, flowers, mountains, oceans, earth… sink deep into the earth, breathe into your womb space and feel your deep connection with Nature, Mama Gaia. Embodied. In reverence to all living beings. All creatures who walk upon this land, we love.
Honoring all walks of Life, we create community.
The women are the bringers of community! Gathering us all in circle. This is how we rise! Every voice is appreciated! Every expression is valued! We connect heart to heart! Our children grow up in a paradigm where respecting women is no longer a question. Respecting Life is the principle we all live by.
Women can shine in their feminine essence and be honored for it! Men can share their masculine essence and be recognized for it! Women and men can see that these feminine and masculine energies are within us all, and we can perfectly complement one another. By seeing the individual for the jewel that they are, we are encouraged to shine authentically and to embrace our unique strengths, while leaning in for support! Instead of perpetuating a paradigm of pain, we shift our narrative into one of unity consciousness, united by the power of Love.
Isn’t this what makes us powerful?
So women AND men, this is a call for the Divine Feminine AND the Divine Masculine to continue rising and illuminating the way forward. Thank you! Awakening the God and the Goddess, we move in a beyoutifull direction, guided by our intuition.
Today is International Women’s Day!
How will you empower her?!
It starts today, and it’s a journey that continues…
Thank you for creating a new story… not just history, or even herstory…
we are creating OURstory.
And so it is.
